Edward W. Villa
Professor and historian
born in the village of Baviácora on October 26, 1888, did his primary education there and graduated from primary school teacher in the city of Ures July 12 1907.

Rodolfo Campodonico
born on 3 July 1866.
musician and composer. Banda Director of the State. He played several instruments like flute, triangle, cornet and cello. He formed an orchestra. He wrote about a thousand pieces, mainly waltzes, including: "Elena", "Light", "Lolita", "Maria Luisa" and "Club Green" was anthem combat the enemies of Governor Izabal.
